I came into software from a dispatch desk at a trucking company, which is still the most useful thing on my résumé — it's where I learned that most bad decisions aren't approved by anyone, they just happen fast and unexamined. Load Scorer exists because of that desk. Powerkan, the terminal kanban board this site is dressed as, exists because I wanted my own process to be as inspectable as the systems I ship.

Software Engineer Intern — DataRemote
Built a cloud-agnostic S3 integration layer (SOLID, factory pattern) that took the AWS → Ceph migration to zero code changes. Engineered cross-node broadcasting for MQTT/EMQX clusters tracking device status across 6+ clusters, and extended a Python device simulator with unstable-network and LWT scenarios to surface edge-case failures at 150k+ devices.

Computer Science Intern — Miami-Dade County WASD
Mayor's Internship Program, Safety & Risk Management division. Led a full refactor of the department's internal site used by 9 teams, built automation tools with County IT that eliminated manual entry across 3,500+ records, and scripted registration and storage for 700+ employees in training programs.

Booked and dispatched freight against real margins — routing, real-time tracking, driver and customer coordination. The problem Load Scorer solves is the one I had here.
